Season 2 Episode 11: A Special Invitation

Saturday evening

Jesminder: I forgot to check the mail this afternoon. I hope we get something good.

Jesminder: This letter is from Suzume Nakamura. Wait. THE Suzume Nakamura?? THE host of Food Talk with Suzume?! I got to open this right away!

*opens letter*

Jesminder: *GASP* OMG, Aaradhya and I are going to be on her show!! AHHH! This is exciting! I can’t wait to tell Aaradhya the good news!

Penny: Hey, girl! I can’t help hearing you getting so hyped! What’s the scoop?

Jesminder: Hey, Penny! OMG, you won’t believe what we just got in the mail!

Penny: Tell me!

Jesminder: I just received an invitation for Aaradhya and I to be on Suzume Nakamura’s talk show, Food Talk with Suzume!

Penny: You are?? Congratulations!!

Jesminder: Here’s a picture of Suzume! Isn’t she so pretty?

Penny: She’s so gorgeous, girl!

Jesminder: You plan to come to the show?

Penny: Yeah! In fact, I’ve already brought myself a ticket! I can’t wait to see you ladies with Suzume!

Jesminder: We look forward to seeing you there! By the way, would you like to hang out with us?

Penny: I’m free, so sure!

Aaradhya: Hello, Penny! What’s up?

Penny: I would like to hang out with you two!

Aaradhya: Sounds great to me!

Penny: Jesminder has some great news to share!

Jesminder: That’s right, Penny! Aaradhya, you and I are going to be on Suzume Nakamura’s show, Food Talk with Suzume!!

Aaradhya: We are?!! AHHH!!! This is so thrilling!!!

Penny: You two are the first people I know to be on Food Talk with Suzume. Some of the Internet stars I personally know appeared on Ellen, Oprah, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Aaradhya: Are you going to be there to watch us talk with Suzume?

Penny: Of course! Suzume is one of my favorite talk show hosts! I must warn you though. She tends to throw knifes everywhere when she’s boiling mad.

Jesminder: Yikes.

Penny: Despite that, she’s a very sweet person!

Aaradhya: I can picture Suzume welcoming us to our show with a big smile on her face!

Jesminder: Same here! I can’t wait to meet Suzume!

Sunday

Host: Welcome to The Well-Being Appetite! How many people are in your party?

Aaradhya: Two.

Host: Give me a sec and I’ll find you a table.

Aaradhya: The Well-Being Appetite. Interesting name and wonderful atmosphere.

Jesminder: I already scanned the menu and looks like they offer experimental foods!

Aaradhya: They do? Awesome!

Server: Greetings and welcome to the Well-Being Appetite! I’m Eva and I’ll be taking care of you. Can I start you off with an appetizer? The Chef’s Choice is the Garden Salad!

Jesminder: Sure thing! I’ll have a caprese salad.

Aaradhya: I’ll have the vegetable tempura.

Server: Excellent choices! Thank you for your order. Your food will be out shortly.

Aaradhya: I can’t believe Suzume invited us to be on her show!

Jesminder: We can definitely check that off our bucket list!

Aaradhya: I wonder what she want to talk to us about?

Jesminder: I’m getting the impression that she wants to discuss our Views of the World Traveling Foodies blog.

Aaradhya: Maybe that’s the case! We’ll find out on Wednesday.

20 minutes later

Jesminder: Our food is here!

Aaradhya: They smell wonderful! Let’s dig in!

Jesminder: Delicious! Just the way I love it!

Aaradhya: My vegetable tempura is out of this world! However, vegetarians who want to cut down on fried foods shouldn’t eat this all the time.

Jesminder: True, true.

After a 10 minute break and ordering the entrees

Aaradhya: So far, I’m satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere. The music playing in the background is so calming. People who want to dine out and release stress at the same time should go here!

Jesminder: I agree with everything you said, my friend! There’s also bar where you can hang out at and these flowers on our table smell wonderful!

30 minutes later

Jesminder: Yum! Our food is here!

Aaradhya: Let’s dig in, shall we?

Aaradhya: Ahhhhh. These Space Energy Drinks are so refreshing!

Jesminder: It will definitely get you energized.

Jesminder: Mmmmm! Delicious!

Aaradhya: How’s your Sizzled Brisket over Sour Clover Salad.

Jesminder: The brisket is so tender and full of savory flavors! This is the first time I’ve tried clover salad and there’s so much flavor in this! Not too much sour. Not too much sweetness. Just the right amount.

Aaradhya: Wow, my Glazed Heirloom Bamboo Roll is full of green goodness!

Jesminder: You can actually eat bamboo?

Aaradhya: Yes! However, it’s best not to eat them raw! Raw bamboo are bitter and hard to digest.

After the entrees

Jesminder: What a delicious meal! Let’s take a break and then we’ll have Cowplant Essence Meringue Pies for dessert! I saw it’s the Chef’s Choice for dessert!

Aaradhya: Cowplant Essence Meringue Pie? Sounds interesting! I can’t wait to try it!

30 minutes later

Jesminder: Our Cowplant Essence Meringue Pies are here!

Aaradhya: I know one of the main ingredients for this pie is Cowplant Essence. How does one get it.

Jesminder: I know that you can milk the cowplant after it has eaten a person. That essence potion is based off the emotion that person was in. For example, a happy Sim that’s eaten by the cowplant will allow the cowplant to produce the happiness essence potion.

Aaradhya: Ewww!! That’s disgusting! I know people can get killed if they get eaten the second time.

Jesminder: Right. You do have to be careful that you don’t get lured by the cake the cowplant sticks out of its tongue. That’s a sign that tells you the cowplant is hungry.

Jesminder: Wow!! This is so delectable!!

Aaradhya: OMG, I can feel the flavors rushing to my tongue!

After dessert

Aaradhya: Mmmmm! This is by far the best dessert I’ve ever had!

Jesminder: I agree with you, Aaradhya! This is out of this world! Our verdict on this restaurant?

Aaradhya: 5 stars all across! This is definite go to!

Jesminder: Definitely 5 stars! Before we leave, we must ask the chefs for the recipes on the Cowplant Essence Meringue Pie, Sizzled Brisket over Sour Clover Salad, and the Glazed Heirloom Bamboo Roll.

Aaradhya: Definitely!
